Coaching with EMMA

For all you runners looking to conquer your next distance be that 5k all the way to ultra marathons; but are struggling with injury getting in the way, are lacking strength training or just can’t seem to find the right plan to help you- I’ve got a message for you.

My name is Emma Kirk-Odunubi and if you want to succeed at your next marathon and tick off those big goals you have in mind, then pay attention.

So many runners think in order to get better at running distance, you have to just run loads of miles in your training and constantly pound the pavements.

That is not the case. If you want to get better at running there are some key areas you need to align your focus on. Strength training focusing on leg endurance and core stability; accessory work (or as I call them successories) is the most important to avoid injury as well as including speed training throughout-these are just some of those areas.

How can you incorporate all this? Let me introduce To the Finish Line Coaching. This coaching programme will:

  1. Help you find the key strengths and weaknesses in your running and build a structured plan to help you improve.

  2. Incorporate all the running, strength training (less than 50 minute sessions), speed work and accessories in your plan covering 5 days a week.

  3. Teach you how to understand your body truly and listen to it throughout your training.

  4. Educate you on all the extra knowledge needed to successfully complete your race from nutrition during long runs to kit that is essential for your training.

  5. Bring you into a community of runners all tracking down a common goal-to conquer the greatest distance and smash through that finish line.

Without a tailored plan, or the guidance of a coach with unrivalled expertise you can’t expect to get the best result. The most successful people don’t succeed on their own they have a whole crew behind them.

The legendary Marathon World Record Holder Eliud Kipchoge said “100% of me is nothing compared to 1% of the entire team”.

So why would you not owe it to yourself to have that support behind you and sign up today?
